How can I get a dress made in Halong Bay?

Hi - Can anyone recommend a good tailor in Halong Bay? My daughter (16) is going on a World Challenge expedition and would like to get a dress made for her school ball next year while they have a few days r&r in Halong Bay. I know HoiAn is a better place to get clothes made but they are not going there.

Unless your daughter speaks Vietnamese or has contacts in the area there is very little chance of finding a tailor. Apart from bay-related activities, Halong City doesn't really cater to the needs of visitors. Go to Hoi An to get one if you have chance.
